Weekend and After-Hours Bookings at Pulsar Post

Important Information:

  • Weekend Hires: Please note that bookings made for weekends are subject to a +30% loading fee.

  • Over Hire Time: If your shoot extends beyond the scheduled hire time, additional fees will apply at an hourly rate.

Rental Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the dry hire of Pulsar Post’s post-production suites, sound suite, voice-over booth, and screening theatre. By hiring any part of the facility, the Client agrees to the following:

STUDIO RULES

  • No smoking is permitted inside the building or within 6 metres of any entrance.

  • Food and drink must remain in hard-floored areas. Strictly no food or drink in the sound suite, voice booth, screening theatre, or near editing/grading equipment.

  • Alcohol & drugs: No alcoholic beverages unless required for the production and approved in advance. No illegal drugs. Anyone appearing intoxicated or under the influence will be refused entry.

  • Noise levels should be kept to a reasonable level. Please respect others using the facility.

  • Pets are not permitted without prior approval.

  • Occupancy is limited to a maximum of 5 people in the studio at any one time unless previously arranged in writing.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

  • 48+ hours before hire: Full refund

  • 24–48 hours before hire: 50% of the hire fee retained

  • Less than 24 hours: No refund

  • Cancellations must be made via email or phone and acknowledged by Pulsar Post staff.

HOURS & LENGTH OF USE

  • Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

  • After-hours: Available by request and subject to +30% loading on hire rate, calculated in 15-minute increments.

  • Rental time includes setup and pack-down. Please plan accordingly.

  • The studio must be vacated by the agreed end time unless prior extension is confirmed.

  • Drop-off or pick-up of equipment, props, or materials outside the hire window must be arranged in advance and may incur a fee.

CLEANING & TRASH

  • The Client is responsible for leaving the space in the condition it was found.

  • Rubbish should be placed in the bins provided. Large items (e.g. set pieces, props, packaging) must be taken off-site.

  • A minimum $50 cleaning fee will be charged if additional cleaning is required. This may be deducted from the bond or invoiced.

LIABILITY WAIVER

  • Use of Pulsar Post premises and equipment is at the Client’s own risk.

  • Pulsar Post is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss (direct or indirect) to persons or property during hire.

  • Clients are responsible for the conduct and safety of their team and visitors.

CONDUCT

  • Pulsar Post is a shared professional environment.

  • Clients must ensure respectful and professional behaviour by all attendees.

  • Disruptive, unsafe, or unprofessional conduct may result in termination of hire without refund.

AGE OF TALENT

  • Clients are responsible for verifying that all models, voice actors, or talent are 18+ or accompanied by a legal guardian.

  • Pulsar Post may request proof of age and reserves the right to cancel any session involving minors without proper consent.

INSURANCE

  • Businesses, production companies, and legal entities must carry valid Public Liability Insurance.

  • Proof of insurance may be requested prior to the session.

  • Independent contractors are encouraged to ensure they are adequately covered.

EQUIPMENT USE

  • All equipment is provided in good working order. No guarantee is made as to fitness for purpose.

  • Clients must notify staff immediately of any malfunction or damage.

  • Use of equipment is restricted to the purpose outlined in the booking.

  • Wi-Fi is provided during hire but is not guaranteed for critical tasks.

DAMAGE

  • The Client is financially responsible for any damage to equipment, facilities, or fittings that occurs during the hire period.

  • Any repairs, replacements, or professional cleaning costs will be invoiced.

FINAL NOTES

Pulsar Post reserves the right to cancel or refuse future bookings due to misuse of facilities, breach of terms, or damage caused during hire.
